Our process

Modular construction enables us to deliver a finished product that is on time and within budget, while minimizing waste of materials and time. The construction takes place in our factory, ensuring a safe and controlled environment.

OUR PROCESS

Simplifying your journey to home ownership

1.
Choose your cabins

Determine which cabins work best for your property.

2.
Ensure you’re ready

Purchase your property or outline the space on your current property for the unit(s) and choose a general contractor for your site work. We will work with you and your GC to align on project details and prep.

3.
Sales agreement and deposit

You will review your sales agreement and pay a depostit (50% refundable) to start your site specific plan review with our Architect and Engineer Company. You will receive a full set of stamped and sealed plans, including foundation for permitting.

4.
Apply for legal permits

If your municipality requires them, this is the time to get those permits in order. We will assist by providing all needed design documents and consult with you and your local contractor.

5.
We start building your cabins

Once permits and 50% down payment is received, construction begins of your MyCabin unit in our factory 

6.
Groundwork and foundation

Once your permits are in order, the foundation and site prep work can begin with your contractor.

7.
Delivery and set-up

Your cabin is delivered on a truck and placed on the prepared foundation by crane, all in one day. Installation is handled by your contractor on your land.

8.
Enjoy your new place!

Your new cabin is move-in ready. It’s really that fast and easy!

Does your site qualify?

Before we start, review the following items for your property:

  • Proximity to sewage/water hookup
  • Zoning guidelines and restrictions
  • Accessibility for 80'-90' trucks and a crane

Pre-Construction Planning and Agreement
Sign sales agreement and pay a deposit (50% refundable in case of permitting issues) to have the Engineering team create your site specific, stamped and sealed plans for permitting purposes.

Deposits for each unit:
Milla XL: $5,500
Milla Long: $4,500
Milla: $4,000
Kalmus w/ bathroom: $3,500
Kalmus no bathroom: $3,000
Galia: $2,500

If duplicating a unit, deposit on second unit is 50% of the first
Any changes after preliminary plans is charged at $120 an hour
Work with your local municipality to obtain your building permits.
Confirm your final order and pay 50% installment to begin construction.
2 - 3 months
Construction
Unit construction in our factory. Foundation and site prep on your property.
30% progress payment.
Final payment of 20% plus any needed taxes prior to shipment.
1 month
Delivery and Installation
Installation prep done by customer.
